Who is SuddenlySingleMoney.com for and what do you do?We help and guide people through the bereavement, separation or divorce process. Male or female – any age group. Some people enjoy good family support however, still prefer to seek to explore their feelings and option separately. A time where they can be themselves and where they don’t have to “put a brave face on” for friends and family. A safe space to accept, embrace and release their anger and hurt. To speak their Truth. Using NLP, counselling and other techniques we help to empower and enable people to work through their issues and move forward to the next phase of their life. To start the process of looking forward and living life on their terms and in their time. SuddenlySingleMoney is not a financial advice service but provides financial guidance and information. |
Lynn Barbara Burns Lynn Barbara Burns has been working in UK financial services industry since 1978 and has been advising clients on a one to one basis since 1984. Fully Diploma qualified, authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute. Lynn is a qualified clinical hypnotherapist and Master Practitioner of NLP with many years experience in mentoring and empowering others. She has completed counselling skills study and has volunteered supporting others on a confidential telephone programme. Although Lynn is passionate with regards to providing quality financial advice to others she realised a number of yours ago that there was a great need for emotional support and general financial guidance and that her experience and expertise enabled her to provide this to others on an ongoing basis as they navigate their way through their individual, personal journey. Lynn’s philosophy is that at a deep level we all know what the right thing is for ourselves, however discovering that can be challenging. She enjoys enabling people to discover their own path and supporting them through the process. Balancing both the emotional and the purely practical aspects of the individual – allowing them their own time and space to empower and refocus. During the last thirty three years Lynn has dealt with many people who have found themselves suddenly single for a variety of reasons. What she has learned is that we all have different needs to enable us to successfully navigate the process. Surprisingly though, there are many aspects in common with each individual and it is the similarities which have evolved into the “seven keys”. On a personal note, Lynn has been suddenly single herself and, reflecting on this process, asked herself “what would have helped me during that time?” She has also carried out extensive research and spoken to a large number of individuals from various backgrounds and walks of life and discovered similar viewpoints and common experiences. Most people felt that, although support from family and friends was really important sometimes they just wanted an outside ear or sounding board. Someone they could talk to on a confidential basis without having to explain or justify themselves. Someone who could assist in the practical matters but also help build a plan to move forward and create a new future – even if they weren’t sure specifically what that future was. |
